More Mounted Trials Allowed
The AKC Board recently approved a change to the regulations governing Pointing Breed Field Trials to allow local clubs to hold up to three horseback trials per calendar year. This change takes effect immediately.
Chapter 3, Section 5. Number of Events Per Year. Local clubs are limited to a maximum of fourlicensed field trials within a calendar year. No more than three of these may be “horseback” trials. Holding horseback trials is not mandatory. A club may hold up to four “all-walking” trials per calendar year.
